Luffness is an East Lothian gem. Laid out in 1894 by Tom Morris, this Open qualifying links delight is rightly famous for it's historic association with the great amateur Freddie Tait, and the consistent excellence of its greens. The course is a pure links experience, with breathtaking views looking west to Edinburgh. In recent years it has been lengthened and an armoury of new bunkers introduced to create a memorable challenge. Luffness New is also home to one of the finest wooden panelled 'smoke rooms' in golf.
